How it works · HMRC Business Rates

Manage connected VOA casework.

The HMRC Business Rates workspace brings clients, claimed properties, messages, checks and challenges into a single account dashboard.

Open your valuation account

Open HMRC portal from CRM or CCA client service from VOA Link. The dashboard shows the connected account, the time its saved data was updated and the available casework sections.

Open the connected service from CRM or VOA Link.

  2. 2

Check that the correct account is shown.

  3. 3

Choose Clients, Properties, Messages, Checks or Challenges.

02

Review clients and property links

Use Clients and Properties to inspect appointed clients and claimed properties. Property claims outstanding provides a view of claims awaiting a decision.

The dashboard separates draft checks and draft challenges from existing cases. Choose the relevant draft and complete the guided review before submitting.

  2. 2

Select the draft for the correct property and rating list.

  3. 3

Review the information and evidence at each step.

  3. 3
